About Our Privacy Policy
We care deeply about your privacy. Therefore, we only process data that is necessary for (improving) our services and handle with care the information we have collected about you and your use of our services. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services accessible on it. The effective date for these terms is 10/10/2023; publishing a new version invalidates all previous versions. This privacy policy describes which data about you we collect, for what purpose these data are used, and with whom and under what conditions these data may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect your data from misuse, and what rights you have with respect to the personal data you provide to us.
If you have questions about our privacy policy, you can contact our privacy officer; you will find the contact information at the end of our privacy policy.
About Data Processing
Below, you can read how we process your data, where we store it, what security techniques we use, and who has access to the data.
Website Software
WordPress
Our website was developed with software from WordPress via Mooi Online. Personal data that you make available to us for our services is shared with this party. Mooi Online has access to your data to provide (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose. Mooi Online is required by the agreement we have with them to take appropriate security measures. Mooi Online uses cookies to collect technical information related to your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored.
Web Hosting
Mooi Online
We use web hosting and email services from Mooi Online. Mooi Online processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. These are not personal data. Mooi Online has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Mooi Online is obligated to maintain confidentiality under the agreement.
Email
Mooi Online
We use Mooi Online’s services for our regular business email traffic. This party has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Mooi Online has no access to our mailbox, and we handle all our email traffic confidentially.
Purpose of Data Processing
General Purpose of Processing
We use your data solely for our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the order you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later date – other than at your request – we will explicitly ask for your consent. Your data is not shared with third parties, other than to fulfill accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality by the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.
Automatically Collected Data
Data automatically collected by our website is processed to improve our services further. These data (such as your IP address, web browser, and operating system) are not personal data.
Cooperation in Fiscal and Criminal Investigations
In some cases, Mooi Online may be required by law to share your data in connection with government fiscal or criminal investigations. In such a case, we are forced to share your data, but we will oppose this to the extent permitted by law.
Retention Periods
We keep your data as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we retain your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also interpret this as a forget request. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices with your (personal) data, so we will retain this data for as long as the applicable term lasts. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents we created in response to your order.
Your Rights
Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you, as a data subject, have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. We explain below what rights these are and how you can exercise these rights. In principle, we send copies of your data only to your email address known to us to prevent misuse. If you wish to receive the data at another email address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to provide identification. We keep a record of completed requests, and in case of a forget request, we maintain anonymized data. You will receive all copies of data in the machine-readable data format we use within our systems. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data improperly.
Right of Access
You always have the right to inspect the data that we (have) process and that relate to your person or are traceable to you. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy officer. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data to the email address known to us, along with an overview of the processors who hold these data, specifying the category under which we have stored these data.
Right to Rectification
You always have the right to have the data that we (have) process and that relate to your person or are traceable to you adjusted. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy officer. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the email address known to us that the data has been modified.
Right to Restriction of Processing
You always have the right to limit the data that we (have) process related to your person or that can be traced to you. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy officer. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you confirmation to the email address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.
Right to Data Portability
You always have the right to have the data that we (have) process and that relate to your person or are traceable to you, executed by another party. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy officer. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send copies or copies of all data about you that we have processed or processed by other processors or third parties on our behalf to the email address known to us. In all likelihood, we can no longer continue the service in such a case, as the safe linkage of data files can no longer be guaranteed.
Right to Object and Other Rights
In some cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Mooi Online. If you object, we will immediately cease processing your data pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will make copies and/or copies of data that we (have) process available to you and then permanently discontinue the processing. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. If you believe that this is the case, please contact our privacy officer.
