We have always maintained that the most important contributors to sustainable development are people, especially those in the process of developing values and knowledge. This is why children, teachers, and parents are at the forefront of this cultural and educational transformation.
In 2023 and 2024, we supported several projects in rural schools, benefiting four institutions:
- Alto Sondoveni Population Centre: Educational Institution No. 30499
Beneficiaries included 120 children, 120 parents, and 4 teachers who participated in a leadership training for children. Five support sessions were conducted by specialized psychologists, covering topics such as self-esteem, life planning, early parenthood, sexual transgressions, and the prevention of violence in both the classroom and at home.
- Initial Educational Institution No. 2106 & Primary No. 31930, Unión Santa Rosa Population Centre, Pichanaki
Beneficiaries included 19 children at the initial level, 47 children at the primary level, and 4 teachers. We donated televisions and a computer. A technical talk was held with the support of the National Police of Peru, UGEL Peru, and the CARE Peru Programme, where we discussed gender violence, environmental care, and self-esteem with the children and youth.
- Los Ángeles Educational Institution, Pichanaki
Beneficiaries included 32 children who received fans to improve their classroom environment.
- Initial Educational Institution No. 911, Manco Cápac Population Centre, Tambogrande, Piura
Beneficiaries included 14 children in their first-year at school who were provided with audio-visual equipment to facilitate the use of educational materials sent by the Ministry of Education. We also shared Christmas chocolate with the children.
